(Miranda Lambert Exposes Her Weight Loss Secret!)Practicing portion control and committing to her exercise program with her personal trainer, Lambert lost an estimated 45 pounds since 2012. “When you have to walk out there in front of thousands of people, it does feel good to know that your shi-ts not jiggling,” Lambert admitted to Marie Claire. “I’m just like anybody else, insecure and scared of looking bad or being criticized.”
Miranda told People that instead of a breakfast like bacon and eggs, she now has a green juice. Instead of having a huge, unhealthy cheeseburger, she cuts it in half. “Smaller portions right from the start.” She’s trying to make healthier choices overall: “Instead of steak for dinner, I might have chicken and a baked sweet potato.”
In order to stay in shape, she has a personal trainer on tour with her. “We do cardio and a lot of circuit training. We do things that use my body weight, like lunges. People think I lost more [than a dress size], but I’m 5’4″, so when I lose, I lose everywhere.”(Miranda Lambert Workout Plan )
But Lambert didn’t go crazy with her diet. “My weight yo-yos because I like to live,” Lambert explained. “I’m a Cheetos girl. I won’t give up vodka.” However, Lambert kept her diet healthy by drinking juice every day and eating healthier foods like chicken and sweet potatoes.
Lambert also always makes sure to work out. Mixing it up, she jogs, goes horseback riding, goes for a walk and works out with her trainer doing cardio, circuit training, lunges, exercises with resistance bands and more.
When Lambert first debuted her amazing weight loss, rumors were swirling she got surgery. But Lambert immediately said she “lost my weight the healthy and good old fashioned way.”
