Ronnie Ortiz-Magro’s Workout and Diet Plan

Known for his beefy build and fiery temper on MTV’s Jersey Shore, the 28-year-old reality star recently revealed that his muscles had atrophied since falling ill in 2013. After posting a before-and-after photo taken in the span of a month, Ortiz-Magro told his Instagram fans, “I really let myself go after I got sick last year. It’s been a long road. I am nowhere I want to be shape wise, but I feel better than I ever did.”

How did he get his body back so quickly? “Weight, cardio and abs 5-6 times a week,” he tweeted.

Once sporting six-pack abs, Ortiz didn’t look anything like the bodybuilder from Jersey Shore but it didn’t take long for him to get back in shape. Showing just four weeks of progress after hitting the gym religiously, Ortiz admitted that it took working out five to six times a week doing both weights and cardio to burn the fat and build muscle. Still keeping the weight off today, Ortiz says his diet is simple: “If it tastes good, don’t eat it.”

I am nowhere I want to be shape wise, but I feel better than I ever did.” Hey, feeling good is half the battle — and Ron, trust us when we say you’re still miles ahead of the curve. We snuck three blocks of cheese into a midnight showing of “X-Men” on Monday night and they were gone by the time Magneto emerged from the Pentagon. Suffice it to say, we’ll be tucked under a golf umbrella during beach season…
