Renee Zellweger looks completely different on the set of Bridget Jones’s Baby! After her required weight gain and fake baby bump, Zellweger’s made a total transformation. But this is far from the first time Zellweger has changed her look for Bridget Jones.
Fans were so excited to hear about Bridget Jones’s Baby. The new movie will reportedly go in a different direction than Helen Fielding’s series. While Bridget Jones: Mad About A Boy killed off Colin Firth’s Mark Darcy, Firth is a big part of the film. And much to fans’ dismay Firth is not wearing a wedding ring. Does this mean they’re not married?
Zellweger, Patrick Dempsey, and Firth have actually already made their way to set. And Zellweger looks so different! She was recently spotted sporting a fake belly at a Woolwich supermarket while filming.“Can I just tell you my body is whacked by the time we finished one of those,” Zellweger reportedly said in 2007. “It doesn’t know what has happened because it thinks there’s supposed to be a baby and there’s no christening.”
Zellweger went on to talk about the effects of her yo-yo diet. Her quick 20-pound weight gain and loss actually made her worried for her health.
She said to Daily Mail:
“Can I just tell you my body is whacked by the time we finish one of those. It doesn’t know what has happened, because it thinks there’s supposed to be a baby and there’s no christening.”
She also added:
“Did you see that movie about fast food, Supersize Me? I had a panic attack with all the specialists talking about how bad this is for you, long term, putting on that much weight in short periods of time and they’re all saying, ‘You must stop this now or you’re going to die’.”
Yes, it is very risky to gain weight this short period of time and eat only junk food, but it is more risky keep the extra pounds for a long time or even for a whole life.
