The other day, news surfaced online that Kanye fired one of his bodyguards for making a move on his wife, Kim Kardashian. The team of Kimye are still mum about it, but Steve Stanulis finally broke his silence over the issue, confirming that he was indeed fired by Kanye West.
Steve Stanulis is a 42 year old guy with a family and currently a father of 3 kids. Stanulis is a former police officer and Chippendales dancer has worked for big-time celebrities such as Leonardo DiCaprio and Tobey McGuire. That’s saying a lot about his experience.
In his interview with the DailyMail, he told the press that Kanye is the most self-absorbed person he has ever met.
Kimye were preparing for a huge celebration, the Met Gala so Stanulis was trying to figure out if the couple is ready to leave.
Stanulis was quoted saying:
“They were getting ready for Met Gala. I was sitting downstairs in the Waldorf, and it was around 6pm. I got some information that they were looking to rent a Lamborghini, or something of that nature. He said they had called their driver down to see if he could obtain the sports car. He tried, but he couldn’t as it was last minute.”
Hmmm, it seems like Stanulis’ intentions are to simply make sure the couple is okay…. He then continued with:
“I went upstairs to see what was happening as we were supposed to be driving them. I just wanted to make sure we were ready when they were ready. I went up to the floor to the Presidential Suite. I was walking and the door was open and I happened to see Kim. I thought I’d ask her or the other security or assistant if there was a change of plan. As I was walking up to Kim and the room, Kanye walked by. He came from around the corner and saw me walking towards the room. I turned around and said ‘Hey Mr West… how you doing?”
After his question, Kanye immediately shut the door down so Stanulis just went back downstairs. After a while, some of Kanye’s guards told him that couple has already gone to the MET gala and that he would not be needed anymore by the family.
Steve Stanulis cleared that:
“I had no intention on hitting on Kim Kardashian. I am happily married. I got enough problems in the world and three young kids, so that was not my intent. I didn’t hit on Kim. Kanye has so much in his life. He should be thankful and be grateful for people who work so hard to keep him safe and happy.”
It seems like Steve isn’t at all familiar with Kanye’s notorious attitude, what’s your take on this?
