Norman Reedus is an American actor and model, best known for his television role as Daryl Dixon on The Walking Dead, an AMC horror drama series (2010–present). He has also acted in numerous films, appeared in created several videos, done video game voiceovers, and modeled for various fashion designers, most recognizably Prada in the 1990s. Reedus was born in Hollywood, Florida, and is the elder of two children born to Marianne and Norman Reedus. He is of Italian (from his maternal grandfather), English, Scottish, and Scotch-Irish descent. He was raised in Los Angeles. Reedus also lived in Japan, Spain, and Ireland.

• He spent most of his time close to Hollywood Hills, in Los Angeles. Since then, Reedus has also lived in Japan, Spain and even the UK, while he has English, Italian, Scottish, and Irish blood running through his veins due to his ancestry.
• One of Reedus’ early jobs was working in a motorbike shop in Venice, California.
• Reedus has starred in many productions, the first of which came playing the lead role of Van in the 1997 film, Floating.
• He’s been in eleven music videos. The videos include Judas – Lady Gaga, Fake Plastic Trees – Radiohead, Strange Currencies – R.E.M. and Flat Top – The Goo Goo Dolls.
