Pop sensation Lady Gaga has always stayed in good shape, but shocking pictures surfaced in early 2015, and the pop queen looked rather “chubby” to say the least!
Maybe it’s the love bug that caused Lady Gaga to gain so much weight as she became engaged in February of 2015 to long term boyfriend Taylor Kinner.
Although Lady Gaga might be a world famous pop star, she still wants the simple things in life, and that means she wants to look great in a wedding dress!
Since becoming engaged Lady Gaga has made it a mission to lose weight and get in great shape for her wedding.
New pictures surfaced recently and Lady Gaga looked phenomenal – as she has reportedly lost 25 total pounds thus far.
How did Lady Gaga lose so much weight?
She has been working with a nutritionist to clean up her diet and has also got the help of a few all natural weight loss pills.
The clean diet that her nutritionist has put her on and the all natural weight loss pills have helped her take control of her sluggish metabolism and turn her body into a fat burning machine.
Her nutrition coach explained that as Women start to get around the age of 30 – their metabolism can be drastically different than when they were in their early 20’s.
The late nights of drinking and pizza don’t effect a young girl’s metabolism – but those same nights can cause you to pack on body fat rapidly as you get closer to 30!
This is exactly what happened to Lady Gaga. Gaining weight doesn’t discriminate – it even affects the Queen of Pop!
The good news is that a clean diet, consistency, and a few daily pills can easily correct years of weight gain in a short period of time.
In fact – Lady Gaga has dropped 25 lbs. in less than 5 months! How did she do it. We were able to ask her nutritionist a few questions on her dramatic weight loss.
Q: What types of changes did you make to Lady Gaga’s diet?
A: The biggest change was that we swapped the bad carbohydrates for fiber filled carbohydrates such as fresh fruit, vegetables, quinoa, brown rice, lentils, black beans, kidney beans, and her personal favorite – sweet potatoes. This kept her blood sugar more stable and gave her all day energy.
Q: Can you still achieve dramatic weight loss results without sacrificing the foods you most enjoy?
A: Of course you can – but you have to be conscious of total calories. I made sure Lady Gaga’s diet never exceeded 1,500 calories in a day – but we included 2 “flex days” where she could eat whatever she wanted as long as the total calorie count was under that.
Let’s take a look at a day in the life of Lady Gaga’s 25 Lb. weight loss diet plan!
Lady Gaga Diet Plan(Typical Workout Day)
Breakfast:
Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie
1 Cup Almond Milk, 1 frozen banana, 1 scoop vanilla protein powder, 1 tbsp. peanut butter, 1 tbsp. chia seeds + All Natural Weight Loss pills
Lunch:
2 Cups Fresh Mixed Berries (blueberries, blackberries, and strawberries), 8 Ounces Chicken Breast with ½ Sliced avocado and Sirracha Sauce – Lady Gaga’s favorite!
Afternoon Snack:
Isopure Protein Shake (pure whey isolate) + All Natural Weight Loss pills
Dinner:
6 Ounces Sliced Ahi Tuna, 2 Cups Spinach Salad with Sesame Ginger Dressing
Night Time recovery Supplement(ZMA) – Lady Gaga trained in the gym 5 times per week during this transformation, and needed the extra mineral support to recover.
Flex Day Dieting:
To keep Lady Gaga from going insane her nutritionist incorporated “flexible dieting” days into her regimen.
This meant that for 2 days per week she could eat whatever she wanted – but she had to count her total calories for the day and keep it under 1,500.
Lady Gaga actually enjoyed Gummy bears, Soda, Chocolate chip cookies, snickers bars, pop tarts and potato chips on her flex days!
She tried to consume the majority of her “junk food” on flexible dieting days after her workout – so it would seem more like a reward.
Another rule to flex day dieting she followed was to make sure she got in a lot of high quality protein so her muscles could perform optimally.
She consumed a lot of lean chicken, grass fed beef, wild caught fish, eggs, and turkey on her flex days.
This goes to show you that you can actually have your cake and eat it too – even on a diet!
