Jordin Sparks Reveals Her Diet Plan

Jordin Sparks Diet Plan

Jordin Sparks had a lot of bad food addictions over the years that caused her weight to spiral out of control quick. Not only did she love potato chips but she also loved gummy bears, chocolate, and her mom’s home cooked food. There is a reason they call it comfort food!Jordin Sparks Food List

Ms. Sparks did not count calories but rather followed a healthy diet plan and got a few tips from a health expert. The nutrition expert said that she could trick herself into enjoying healthier sweet food and battle her cravings with fresh fruit.

Less Bad, More Good

Sure enough – Jordin started to swap the gummy bears, chocolate and other desserts for her favorite types of delicious and sweet fruit. She would let herself enjoy any fruit as long as she wasn’t eating candy.

Jordin would typically enjoy a big bowl of fruit everyday for breakfast and would often enjoy it for desserts. Her favorite fruits on her diet were watermelon, pineapple, blueberries, cantaloupe, and bananas.

All of these fruits are extremely sweet and helped her battle her sugar craving all while providing fiber and healthy vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.

Jordin Sparks would take her Garcinia Cambogia pill every day before breakfast and before working out. She said that she couldn’t believe the incredible amount of energy she got from the Garcinia Cambogia pills and that she would crave the feeling of a hard workout after taking it.

Not only did the Garcinia Cambogia help speed up her metabolism but gave her the energy to power through rigorous exercise.

Jordin Sparks did not starve herself or go on a low carbohydrate diet. She simply just made healthier choices. She use to pig out on bagels, bread, pasta, cookies and crackers for lunch and dinner but swapped those for healthier carbohydrate alternatives.

What Foods Are OK?

During her incredible 11-month transformation she frequently ate higher fiber carbohydrates that wouldn’t spike her blood sugar and would give her a long sustaining source of energy. Some of her favorites were Oatmeal with fresh fruit, sweet potatoes, brown rice, lentils and quinoa.

Jordin also tried to fill up on higher protein foods to keep her full for longer periods of time and help her body recover after the grueling workouts.

Ms. Sparks became a huge fan of egg whites with hot sauce, grilled chicken, and lean deli turkey over the course of her diet. She is also a huge seafood fan so she regularly would consume tilapia, salmon and crab.

All of these choices were far healthier than her old choices of fried chicken, meatloaf, and red meat. Jordin Sparks admits that she wasn’t on much of a diet in terms of starving herself but rather just swapping out a healthier version of the food she was already eating.

Between making healthy swaps, taking Garcinia Cambogia to increase her metabolism and working out with a trainer it is no wonder she had an incredible 50 lb weight loss transformation. Way to go Jordin!
