Kirstie Alley-WOW!
Some people bring in the new year aiming to lose weight, but actress Kirstie Alley rang in the new year with a dramatic 50 lb. weight loss story! Kirstie has always struggled with her weight and publicly shared her weight loss battle throughout the years long before the age of social media.
This year at the start of 2015 Kirstie Alley tweeted that she had “lost 3 lemurs” in 2014 and blasted past her initial weight loss goal of 30 lbs.
While everybody else started 2015 with a goal to lose weight and get in shape, Kirstie was able to set her sights a little higher since she started off the new year in the best shape of her life.
How She Did It
Kirstie says that a regular weight loss program combining metabolism boosting supplements, diet, and exercise all played a key part.
She also took a few all natural diet pills to supercharge her metabolism and energy levels so she could exercise frequently.
The true X factor however was the fact that she had a ton of support from fans, friends and family members, or as Kirstie states “The Triple F Threat.”
Kirstie says that on days when she was missing her old lifestyle of eating whatever she wanted and not exercising – it was her support system that kept her going.
She credits the 1st step to her losing weight to eating in a way that gave her an increase in energy levels as well as a metabolism boost.
Kirstie says, “Many people think of dieting as starving yourself and feeling sluggish. This could not be farther from the truth.”
She was on what her and her Diet coach call the “Energy Weight Loss Diet.”
This is a precise blend of metabolism boosting and nutrient dense foods, fat burning high quality protein, and all natural diet pills that boost energy levels and increase fat burning around the clock.
Kirstie says that with this combination it was really easy for her to have the energy to workout and do her daily cardio sessions.
What exactly is the “Energy Weight Loss” Diet? We sat down with her diet coach and picked her brain for a few questions.
Kirstie Alley Diet Coach Q-A
Q: How is it possible that Kirstie Alley lost all of her weight without starving herself?
A: The idea of starving yourself to lose weight could not be farther from reality. The fact is that if you are dieting you need to consume more foods that have “energy” properties. These are foods that are lower in total calories, have a lot of fiber, and are nutrient dense.
Take for example a bowl of oatmeal with chia seeds and fresh fruit. This bowl of food contains 400 calories, but will keep you full for hours and hours, contains a ton of fiber, and also contains powerful omega fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals that your body sucks up for energy and allows you to workout at maximum intensity.
Q: Why do people think they need low carb diets to lose weight?
A: Losing weight has more to do with consuming less calories every single day – not necessarily depleting your carbs. Since fat is 9 calories per gram as opposed to carbs only being 4 – it actually doesn’t make sense to follow a low to no carbohydrate diet. Kirstie regularly consumed carbohydrates – but they were “healthy” carbohydrates. She also took all natural diet pills that further boosted her metabolism and made her body more receptive to the carbohydrates for energy expenditure.
